Founders Heather Perlman, Regina Haymes and Jane Wagman came together during their search for a high quality, natural, great-smelling shampoo for their beloved dogs and came up dismally short.
"We wanted product that was more along the lines of what we ourselves used...with ingredients that benefitted the coat AND the skin beneath. After all, dogs COVERED in their coats--ours is just on our heads!"
When nothing out there was up to snuff (or sniff), the trio set out to fill the gap, and leashes in hand, off they went and PRIDE+GROOM was born!

REGINA HAYMES | CO-FOUNDER AND CEO
Regina is a former Fashion Editor and Director who has worked for magazines such as Seventeen, Vogue, and Marie Claire where she oversaw content, styled celebrities and forecasted trends. She continues these duties on a daily basis, the most recent outcome of which being her standard poodle Kiki’s new “leg warmers.” Regina is a wife, and mother of four--two of them human.
JANE WAGMAN | CO-FOUNDER, PRESIDENT
Jane began her graphic design career as an Art Director at Allure and Vogue Magazines. She went out on her own opening her own design studio. Clients have included fashion, beauty, restaurants, hotels, schools, charities amongst many others. In addition, she designed and created a line of paper products and custom jewelry sold nationwide She co-founded a popular woman’s shopping site, Shopafrolic.com. Jane sits on the Board of Animal Haven, an Animal Shelter in Soho, NYC. She is the mom of 2 doodles, 2 chihuahuas and 2 girls.
HEATHER PERLMAN | CO-FOUNDER, CCO
Heather Perlman is a designer whose career spans some 20 years. She has worked as an art director for several advertising agencies with such clients as Coca-Cola, Nike, and Microsoft. As a graphic designer Perlman has designed and produced everything from invitations to book covers to corporate identity and collateral for hotel groups, restaurants, independent schools, and various celebrities. Nothing much is safe from a revamp in her eyes. She can’t help it. She’s sorry.
PAIGE CHERNICK | SVP OF COMMUNICATIONS
Paige Chernick is a Social Media and Communications expert living in NYC. For 10 years, she ran her own consulting company called PaigeKnowsFirst where she managed social content & strategy for many brands, finding her niche within the pet industry.
Paige has been a guest contributor for several publications and featured in articles on her successes with pets and social media. Paige’s rescue dog, Charlie, famously known by her social media handle @puppynamedcharlie, has accumulated hundreds of thousands of fans and made her a successful pet influencer early on in the game. Paige is also one of the Founders of The Pet Summit, a conference in the pet industry for creators and marketers, where she used her experience to create programs and classes to help guide and teach others.
In 2022, Paige became the Social Media Director for PRIDE+GROOM. She is now the Senior Vice President of Communications and remains very immersed in the pet industry on both the corporate side and the influencer side.
BILLY BURKE | DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Billy has spent the last 5 years optimizing supply chains across multiple retail brands. With a passion for operations & even more so for dogs, it was a very clear choice to join the Pride+Groom team. Although no dogs of his own, he's pretty sure this company will be the final push to sign those adoption papers.
